Centering supporting slab
1. Centering is a temporary structure
supports horizontal members like beam and slab.
2. Centering is done by interconnecting panels.
3. These panels are supported by acrow spans as shown in video.
4. The acrow spans are supported by vertical or inclined props
5. Centering is laid before casting of concrete.
6. Centering should be left in place till concrete gains sufficient strength. To reduce relaxation related deflection of slab and beam.
